Welcome to the LSLC

Visit the LSLC for a full range of Laboratory Investigations

Located at the University of Rochester Medical Center, the Life Sciences Learning Center is a place for secondary school students to visit and learn about science using cutting edge technology, and also a resource for teachers wanting to make science relevant and exciting for their classes.

Programs for Students

Middle School and High School field trips and holiday and summer break programs at the LSLC offer students the LSLC offer students the chance to learn science in new and exciting ways. (learn more)

LSLC on the Road

Bring the LSLC to you. Teacher workshops and fully supplied laboratory based case studies can be scheduled at your school. (learn more)

Interactive Media

Short animations, interactive PCR and animated research articles can be found in our media section. (learn more)

Curricula

EVENTS

A limited number of free 4-hour Laboratory Investigations will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.  See our 4-hour program page to find out which classes are available in this promotion.
