Open to all graduate students and post-doctoral fellows at the University of Rochester and URMC, the Scientist-Instructor Program allows scientists to interact with middle and high school students and teachers while teaching classes and workshops at the LSLC.

Sign on for a four month session:
October 1, 2007– January 31, 2008
February 1, 2008 - May 31, 2008

• Spend 5 hours a week working at the LSLC
• Receive a $500 stipend for participating in this teaching opportunity
• Three scientists will be selected to participate for each 4-month period.
• Scientists will be required to attend 1-2 day training sessions on the LSLC lab activities.
