Scientist-Instructors

Open to all graduate students and post-doctoral fellows at the University of Rochester, the Scientist-Instructor Program allows scientists to work with LSLC staff to teach our classes for middle and high school students at the LSLC.

Sign on for a four month session:
October 1, 2009– January 31, 2010
February 1, 2010 - May 31, 2010

  • Spend 5 hours a week working at the LSLC
  • Receive a $500 stipend for participating in this teaching opportunity
  • Three scientists will be selected to participate for each 4-month period.
  • Scientists will be required to attend short training sessions on the LSLC lab activities.
