If you are a graduate student, post-doctoral fellow, technician, or even faculty member who is
interested in sharing your excitement for science with young people or community members, sign up to
be on our science ambassadors email list. To do this, contact
Shaw-Ree Chen and provide your email
information. Then you'll be on an email list that will notify you of opportunities to teach, help out, or
act as a mock patient during some of our school break camps!
Here's a list of opportunities that will be open to you when you get on our mailing list
- - You'll be the first to find out about paid positions that are available at the LSLC
- - You'll be notified of teaching opportunities in schools.
- - Aspiring actors and actresses can act as mock patients during our school breaks. Some of our school break programs involve case studies
where students either phone you or examine you in person to try and solve a problem. Much more interesting than your traditional paper-based
case study, this allows students to practice their question-asking, planning, and deductive skills to solve real-life cases in science and
medicine.
